		Neck lift Often your neck ages before your face, giving the appearance of too much skin, excess fat or a turkey waddle. A neck lift is part of a facelift but may be performed alone. The surgery of the neck is reached through incisions around the ears, through tiny incision under the chin or with liposuction alone. A neck lift includes a set of procedures used to enhance the appearance of your neck: cervicoplasty is the procedure used to remove excess skin, while platysmaplasty tightens and smoothes neck muscles. Typically, the procedure lasts 1-1/2 hours. There is very little in the way of pain or discomfort. We recommend light activities for the first 72. Most patients are quite "presentable" and back to work in 7-10 days.		Many times light liposuction and re-draping the neck skin through two small incisions behind the ear is all you will need.
