An explosion of interest in peels occurred from the 1960’s - 1980’s, and that interest has continued to grow and develop. A chemical peel is a non-invasive procedure used in the Carey MediSpa. It involves the application of a chemical exfoliant for the removal of superficial lesions such as acne or dark spots, to improve the texture of the skin, and to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
