Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that affects some adults. If untreated, it can become worse with time, or more often, become cyclical with flare ups that become worse and then lessen. It can cause red skin, and sometimes small acne like bumps or pustules. It is important to understand that as of yet, there is no permanent cure, however consistent skin care can minimize and control the symptoms.
